House ED&A LOB, Room 206-208  10:30 a.m. – SUPPORT – HB 127, relative to the declaration of a state of emergency. This is the common sense state of emergency reform bill that Governor Sununu vetoed last year that simply forces both chambers to agree to extend an emergency after three, 21 day renewals by the governor.   Click here to register your disposition.  Email Here Thursday, March 9th, N.H. House House Floor Vote SUPPORT OTP- HB 154, relative to the adoption of public health ordinances by a municipality. We have been trying to end town and city mask mandates for years by removing the authority to have a public health ordinance. While those bills have failed, this one attempts change law to require a majority of approval of any public health ordinance by the town legislative body, which is you, The People. This is the ultimate local control bill because it requires a vote by The People. Please email your reps.  Thursday, March 9th, N.H. Senate Senate Floor Vote SUPPORT ITL- SB 184, relative to the age at which a minor may receive mental health treatment without parental consent. This bill seeks to allow children as young as 16 years old to receive mental health treatment without parental permission or notification. OPPOSE Re-Refer, SUPPORT OTP- SB 253, relative to parental access to children’s medical records. There is currently a push for medical facilities to cut off parental access to their child’s medical records at 12 years old. I’ve personally heard several reports of parents changing practices due to this policy. This bill requires that parents have access to their children’s medical records until 18 years old.
