The letter below is Ann Marie Banfield’s response to information she received from the school in response to her 91 a request. She was looking for the school to provide her with proof that the school asking for parental consent to have their children’s behavior and/or mental health data shared with Keen State College.

Ann Marie is a parental rights advocate and an advocate for our children’s rights and their safety.

DO NOT miss the list of data points they are collecting on students: Religious affiliation, Political affiliation to name two.

Dear Ms. Fogarty

Thank you for providing the data privacy agreement I requested in my 91-a. I do not see any attachment or reference to #1. Am I to assume that parents were not informed that their child’s mental health information would be shared with Keene State BHII? The data points are included in a screenshot from the privacy agreement you sent me below. 

1) A copy of the consent form sent to parents and/or guardians asking their permission to share their child’s personal data with Keene State College on behalf of Behavioral Health Improvement Institute. Include any documentation informing the parents/guardians that their child’s behavioral and/or mental health data will be shared with BHII.
