Cornerstone Action update on HB 1283 – relative to end of life options

Rally To Oppose State-Sanctioned Suicide

HB 1283, relative to end of life options, is coming before the full House for a vote this Thursday, March 21.

HB 1283 has strong bipartisan support, with our Governor already stating that he is open to signing the bill. We need your help in ensuring its failure, and the protection of vulnerable Granite State individuals and communities.

We urge you to consider attending the House session and rally in opposition to the bill and the grave risks it poses. A group of individuals, including veterans and members of the disability community, will be gathering to oppose the bill, display signs, and hand out flyers. We encourage you to join them outside the State House. Signs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.

WHEN: Thursday, March 21, 8:00-9:00am.

WHERE: The New Hampshire State House

Please let us know if you are able to attend. We especially encourage young people to be there, to emphasize the way in which the bill undermines suicide prevention efforts necessary for young New Hampshire citizens.
