 A  M I N I S T R Y  O F  C O R N E R S T O N E May 31, 2024 Dear Church Leader, Thanks to you and other concerned religious leaders, yesterday was a very good day for at risk babies in New Hampshire. With support from most Republicans and nine courageous Democrats, HB 1607, including the “exclusionary clause” putting the safety of babies ahead of prosecutions, was passed and is now headed to Governor Sununu’s desk for signature.To see how specific representatives voted yesterday click HERE To find representatives in your area click HEREThank you for all you have done to make that happen! Given the divisiveness of our political environment made all the more acute by the narrow margin between the political parties in the NH House, it is very important that we all take time to thank those who voted for this vital protection of babies. This is especially true for those Democrat representatives who courageously went against significant pressure applied by their party leaders.  Whether or not you were able to reach out to any Representatives before the vote, please take a minute before the moment is lost and other tasks take priority to thank those who supported this important cause.
