Executive Council Meeting on 4/23: Tell them to vote no on a grant to authorize MTSS-B

Today the Executive Council voted NO to a federal grant that would have funded the MTSS-B in our public schools.

There was a good discussion, and great questions were asked of Commissioner Edelblut on the MTSS-B framework. I do differ with him on its effectiveness. I’ve seen too many problems based on this mental health framework. So it was good to hear the Councilors push back, ask questions and vote against accepting the federal funds. 

Councilor Wheeler brought up the best point about the SEL Social and Emotional programs. Second Step is used in many NH schools. This SEL program pushes CRT, DEI and Gender ideology on students.
