Unfortunately, Senator Ruth Ward voted with the Democrats and opposed parental rights. 
HB446 would require an OPT in (parental consent) when students are given the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey. 
This survey asks students outrageous questions. Some of the questions ask them about guns in the home. Parents deserve the right to consent to this kind of invasion of privacy.
