The Tocqueville Lecture Series is excited to host Dr. Lee Trepanier (Samford University). His presentation, “What is Political Civility Today?” highlights some of the challenges that confront those that advocate for political civility and why it is needed in our public discourse.
The hybrid event will occur through a Zoom Webinar and at B01 Merrill Hall on the campus of Jacksonville State University. You will receive a hyperlink to the Zoom Webinar upon registering at http://bit.ly/TLSTrepanie.
A Q&A will follow Dr. Trepanier’s presentation, which will take questions from the virtual and in-person audience.
This event is open and free to all. It is possible due to generous grants from The Jack Miller Center and the Alabama Humanities Alliance.
