SUMMARY:In Person Biblical Citizenship Class - Pembroke
DESCRIPTION:Mission Statement for our Class: \nBiblical Citizenship is grounded in faith and encourages Americans to embrace their freedoms. \nWe believe that it is our duty as Christians and as members of society to be ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN OUR GOVERNMENT. No voice should be silenced! Every effort counts! \nClasses are held at:\nGrace Capital Church\n542 Pembroke Street\nPembroke\, NH. 03275 \nThis is a 10 session class. Starting April 24 ending June 26. Class time is 6:30-8:30. \nPlease register on their website to save your seat:\nhttps://gccnh.churchcenter.com/groups/life-groups/c-biblical-citizenship-class-spring-2023

SUMMARY:TeenPact New England II Class
DESCRIPTION:TeenPact Leadership Schools seeks to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process\, value their liberty\, defend the Christian faith\, and engage the culture at a time in their lives when\, typically\, they do not care about such things. \nGreetings! \nThe TeenPact State Class is a dynamic\, hands-on leadership experience where students learn about state government from a Christian worldview. We offer the State Class in all 50 states across the nation challenging students to become servant leaders while pointing them to Christ. At TeenPact Leadership Schools\, we believe that students learn best by doing.\nOur Four Day Class (13-19 year olds) is fast-paced and designed to give students the ultimate hands-on crash course in state government. Having a student learn to find their way around the capitol\, know where to find bills and how to read them\, study and enjoy parliamentary debate\, run for a mock office during the week\, and meet public officials all adds up to be an incredible experience. By spending four days at the capitol\, TeenPact students get a glimpse of what goes on beyond the marble steps as they get the entire story from elected officials\, lobbyists\, and capitol staff. While most groups only see the statues and paintings when they come to the capitol\, we want our students to build relationships with the people who actually influence public policy. The highlight for most students is the fun they have attending Evening Sessions where they interact with the staff\, play games\, participate in worship and hear from a speaker. Each student is challenged to think critically\, grow spiritually\, and come away with an excellent understanding of the state government and servant leadership all while having a ton of fun and making new friends.\nThe One Day Class (8-12 year olds) takes elements from our week-long government class for teenagers and condenses them into one action-packed\, exciting day for elementary students. Students will pray for their leaders during a prayer walk\, learn how a bill becomes a law\, participate in an election\, explore the capitol\, and learn parliamentary procedure in a mock legislature where they discuss bills they have written. These\, as well as many more hands-on\, on-site activities\, will help students understand their state government as well as the impact they can have as Christians and young leaders. \nJOIN US AT TEENPACT NEW ENGLAND II May 1-5 2023!\nVisit our website to sign up for our classes (https://teenpact.com)

Graduated as an R.N. in 1981. Raised in an intact but quite liberal home. In 1983 after breaking up with a boyfriend\, moved to Boulder\, CO where a nursing school classmate and friend lived. Accepted a position as abortion assistant at a late term abortion clinic\, run by Warren Hern MD. Left after about 2 years there. Experienced a heart change by the grace of God\, and partly due to employment in an NICU in Denver. Married in 1987 and moved to Cheyenne. Did not share with friends my dark secret of working in the abortion industry for many years. Moved to Oklahoma in 1996. Eventually made contact with a woman who had herself managed an abortion clinic but left the business and went on to create outreach for abortion clinic workers. Her name is Abby Johnson. I gained courage to share my sad story\, in the hope it might help women rethink their plans to end their children’s lives. Today I try to share my story with anyone that is interested. Had a small role in the movie “UNPLANNED” (which was filmed in Oklahoma). It is Abby Johnson’s story of redemption.\nMy prayer is that my story may convince others that ending innocent children’s lives is never the answer. \nValerie McDonnell is the youngest elected official in the United States after winning her election to the New Hampshire House of House of Representatives “The American Legion Oratorical Contest on The Constitution 1st Place Winner New Hampshire State Champion 2021 and 2022” She graduated from Salem (NH) High School and is attending Southern NH University
