DESCRIPTION:The mission of Camp Constitution is to enhance understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage\, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity\, including the genius of our United States Constitution\, and the application of free enterprise\, which together gave our nation an unprecedented history of growth and prosperity\, making us the envy of the world. We want to motivate\, inspire and activate this generation of Patriots as well as the next generation of Patriots. We want to help find\, develop\, and train leaders in the freedom fight. \nWe will also examine and expose some of the abuses and perversions that have brought our nation and economy so far down\, and offer discussion to counter the negative influences in our lives\, while providing recreational activities that build our physical constitutions\, as well as encouraging intelligent intergenerational conversation. \nWe will publish a daily newspaper documenting – and sometimes spoofing – our activities while featuring the diverse talents and creative skills of our campers. Thus through participation\, we will foster all-around growth in teamwork and individual leadership skills\, both academic and creative. \nWe will have ample opportunity to enjoy our natural surroundings and celebrate our American cultural heritage\, especially through our evening campfire programs which inspire our participation in melodic music\, good humor and camaraderie\, as well as inspiring respect for\, and appreciation of\, God\, home\, and country. \n\n\n\nJUST $300 FOR THE WEEK!\nWe also offer an Early Bird Special $250!\nBe sure to register by May 1st to qualify!\nRoom & Board Included

DESCRIPTION:NATIONAL MONUMENT TO THE FOREFATHERS TOUR \nFaith was the driving force of the Pilgrims. This tour highlights the five principles the Pilgrims brought with them that formed the country we have today; one monument\, five statues. \nStanding 81 feet tall\, on a hill in historic Plymouth\, this hidden gem is the largest solid free standing granite monument in our country.\nConstruction began in 1859. Learn who donated $10 to help build it\, how long it took to build\, and who sponsored each statue. \nDon’t just drive by it. Come and learn what each of the five statues represents and the story of how fifty-one Pilgrims formed the country we have today. \nA 45-minute interpretive tour led by our guide in period clothing. Parking is free at the Monument. The tour begins at the Monument on Allerton Street for those with prepaid tickets and a reservation. The Monument is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Reservations are required. \nBrief video of the Forefathers Monument \n\nDISCOVER PLYMOUTH’S HISTORY – A WALKING TOUR \nLearn about the people\, places\, and events of the beginning of our country as you walk where our Forefathers lived and walked hundreds of years ago. What led them to come to America? Is Plymouth Rock really the rock they stepped on? Come find out why we know it is. Tour includes Brewster Gardens\, Plymouth Rock and the historic waterfront area monuments\, Cole’s Hill\, Leyden Street and Town Square. \nA 90-minute interpretive tour led by our guide in period clothing. Free parking in the lot on Spring Lane. \nTour begins at 48 Summer Street at The Jenney. The walk is about a mile and a half. Path is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Comfortable shoes are suggested.
