•  MARCH 10th 11:00 – 7:00 PLEASE go vote at MVHS (stick around for Annual Meeting if you want, but you don’t have to) to help get School Board members who care about educating the kids AND the budget, not the radical left indoctrination agenda. Vote: Louise Andrus (At Large) and Megan Schmitt (Penacook) and Write In: Karla Garcia (Boscawen) and Amy Griffin (Loudon). PLEASE share with like-minded friends and family who are registered to vote in the MV School District (Boscawen, Loudon, Penacook, Salisbury, and Webster). This takes about 30 mins of your time (or an hour depending on how far from MVHS you live) and could make a huge difference in the direction that the public schools are going and therefore the future generations. It’s a small thing to ask and will make a huge difference. I don’t have kids in the public schools since we pulled them in 2015 to homeschool, but I’ve still been fighting for the kids ever since then. We need MORE people to help. It’s long past time that we get the history changing, political biased, gender questioning, and child porn “literature” crap out of our schools and start actually educating them in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Getting these people on the school board is a step in the right direction. Thank you!

I recommend Louise highly for a position on the Merrimack Valley School Board.  Louise has been actively participating in MVSB meetings for at least 8 years.  She has attended and participated in Board meetings as well as committee meetings, public meetings and annual meetings.  This evidences her deep interest in and concern for the state of our school system.  As a result she has excellent and full knowledge of its budgetary matters and knows MVSB’s history.  

I have known Louise to work very hard, and with a good sense of conscience and dedication.  Louise has lived in Salisbury for over 40 years.  Professionally she worked in a variety of administrative positions and as a bookkeeper.  Louise is honest.  Louise is trustworthy.  Louise keeps her word.  More than that, she is a State Rep (Merrimack County District 5/Andover, Danbury, Hill, Salisbury, Webster) and has her ear to the ground for any and all matters relating to her strong interest in state and local education, including the quality of our schools and their funding.

Please attend the Annual School District meeting on March 10, 2023 which starts at 7 pm at the MV High School, Penacook.

Merrimack Valley School District is proposing the ‘23-‘24 budget an additional 1,015,632 over the ‘22-‘23 budget or a 2.28% increase. Does not include Warrant Article IV to raise and appropriate the sum of $493,613 for the ’23-‘24 fiscal year, representing the additional costs to the increase in salaries and benefits in the new agreement.

There is also a tuition agreement with Andover in the warrant, and as of this date have not been able to obtain a figure as to what Andover has been paying and is currently paying for tuition per student to the MVSD.
