HB 10 – Parent Bill of Rights Fails today…

Parent Bill of Rights Fails. Today HB 10, the “parent bill of rights”, failed in the House 189-195. Every Democrat voted against it along with 4 Republicans.

The amendment failed too, but without a roll call. While the amendment was stronger than the underlying bill, looking at numbers and from accounts on the floor, the above Republicans likely voted against both the amendment and the bill.

The House has another shot at passing this. The Senate has already passed a great version of this bill, which will arrive in the House, likely sometime in April.

RebuildNH wants to inform the constituents of the above Republican representatives’ districts of their vote today against the parents of this state.
