Attend the next NH State Board of Education Meeting Thursday, September 14 at the New Hampshire Department of Education (Granite State College Building) located at 25 Hall St., Concord, NH.

The meeting begins at 10am.
PLEASE sign in to SPEAK. You will have 3 minutes to address the Board of Education.

During the last meeting of the NH State Board of Education, progressives turned out to oppose Prager University’s Financial Literacy Course that was to be included in the Everywhere Program.

This program consists of 15 short (about 5 minute) videos that teach children about subjects like, taxes, simple and compound interest, etc.

I watched many of the videos and was pleasantly surprised by the rich academic content included in the videos. I encourage you to take your time to view them here: https://www.prageru.com/video/simple-vs-compound-interest

You don’t need to watch all of them. Just watch a few to get an understanding of what children will be learning if they opt for an online course like this.

Here is the video from the August Board of Education Meeting. https://vimeo.com/854872595
You can listen to the speakers who opposed this course at the beginning of the video:

Keep in mind that students can learn Personal Finance in their school. However, if a parent decides that what they are offering is not adequate for their children, they will have this as an option.
In other words, this is another choice for students.

I would expect most students would opt for their class in school. However, if the quality is lacking, or if there is content that lacks the kind of detailed information included in these videos, parents might want to choose this course for their kids.

Similar to the VLACS program, this financial literacy course simply offers an alternative when the public school fails to offer something of quality for their students.

Progressives want to shut that down. They do not want your kids to have that alternative.
Remember in Bedford several years ago when the teacher in their Personal Finance Class assigned a book written by a Marxist: Nickel and Dimed.
Parents need an alternative when a district pushes a radical political agenda on students.

Please attend this meeting in support of this alternative. This course is not full of political indoctrination as some have suggested. This course will cover important financial literacy subjects that your kids should be learning.
IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS MEETING, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL IN SUPPORT OF PRAGER U FINANCIAL LITERACY COURSE FOR LEARN EVERYWHERE:
