| All,  Thank you to all who were able to attend Fridays hearing in Testerman et. al vs Scanlan et.al. Thank you for the prayers and encouragement all around. Many of you were with Lynn, Wayne and me in spirit because of conflicting obligations, but the courtroom was full. Each instance as we move forward to restore the original intent to our government provides us an opportunity to learn and we are thankful. Today we encountered one of the many processes of the system. The hurdle today was to establish whether the court had jurisdiction to hear the case. So the plaintiffs were tasked with proving three elements. 1. Was there distinct, palpable injury or harm caused by the defendant(s); 2. Is the injury or harm traceable to the misconduct; and 3. Is there a remedy that can be offered. The attorneys for the defense only argued to dismiss the case. The plaintiffs testified to the harm they believed was caused by the letter of the election laws not being applied. The case was presented before Judge Joseph N. Laplante, of the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Judge Laplante was nominated by President George W. Bush in 2007 and confirmed by the US Senate the same year; he served as the court’s chief judge from 2011 to 2018. Here are a couple of observations I learned today. 1. Being brief and direct is best. 2. Focus specifically on the point you are to make. We are so eager to tell our story, sometimes we embellish beyond what is needed. 3. It is easy to assume.. be careful. With all that is going on in the world today, we can focus on the negatives. We must not look at the circumstances. Instead I choose to remember that we are tasked with taking a stand. To be strong and courageous and to remember that the battle is God’s and he encourages us that once we have done all, that we are to be still and KNOW that he is God! Again, Thank you all for your support and encouragement. Be safe and rest! karen@karentesterman.com (603) 721-9933 The information contained in this transmission may contain privileged and confidential information, protected by federal and state privacy laws.
