EMAIL AND CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE HERE TO HAVE THEM SAY NO TO CACR23! Coming up on Thursday, February 1st, the House of Representatives will be voting on CACR23. Full details of the constitutional amendment will be here, (click on introduced) but as a recap, it would: *say that “every individual has a fundamental right to abortion.” *make abortion legal throughout pregnancy for any reason. *nullify the Fetal Life Protection Act and permit late-term abortions by any “attending physician.” *open the door to public funding of abortion. As always, we need your help. How you can help: 1) Email your representative TODAY with a brief, clear, and courteous message on why she or he should reject CACR23. You can do that by looking up your representative’s contact information here. The link will allow you to search by your town. Make sure to mention in the email’s subject line and first few sentences of the email that you’re a resident of the rep’s district. 2) Call or text your representative as well to reject CACR23.
