Dear Representative (Insert name)

A request for reconsideration was filed by Rep Nikki McCarter for HB154 on  Feb. 16 and will be heard on Feb 22.  I am requesting your full support to address the content of this non-germane amendment. I am one of  hundreds of very upset voters who believe this  intentionally misleading legislation drafted by the Secretary of State was deliberately pushed through both the Senate and the House to prevent public awareness & participation. 

I know Speaker Packard was well aware of the public outcry on the of this bill. I have been forwarded many email exchanges from his constituents  and personally asked you to step in and support the Committee of  Conference  but you failed us. Anyone who saw Rep Berry bring this bill to the floor saw what happened to The People’s voice.  

We are very aware this nongermane amendment was drafted by the secretary of state   who ironies of ironies, championed the “Voter Confidence Committee”.   At a time when elections have the lowest trust in history, to allow the continued  obfuscation on a HB154  will either show you have heard our pleas or you are part of the problem. 

Please give your full support to the vote to reconsider.
