The bill to End Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying has its final hearing in the New Hampshire House Legislative Administration Committee on March 6.

House Bill 1479 would effectively end the corrupt practice of publicly funding lobbyists in the state of New Hampshire.

Your tax dollars are being used against you, and we need your help if we are going to change that.

Contact your legislator and tell them to end taxpayer-funded lobbying by supporting House Bill 1479!

Under our current taxpayer-funded lobbying system, your hard-earned tax dollars go to government lobbyists, who then turn around and advocate for higher taxes with the money you furnished. They line their own pockets, and then the vicious cycle happens all over again.

Your tax dollars are being used to lobby against you to advocate for the taking of even more of your tax dollars.

This happens every day with taxpayer-funded lobbyists running the show in both Concord and Washington, DC.

It’s completely corrupt and should immediately end.

Take action today by contacting your legislator in support of House Bill 1479!

House Bill 1479, introduced by Rep. Josh Yokela and co-sponsored by Rep. Julius Soti and Rep. Keith Ammon, plans to do away with this unconstitutional use of taxpayer dollars.

It involves going door-to-door, direct mail, targeted digital advertising, live phone calls, and text messaging to mobilize Americans to contact their elected officials, telling them to say no to taxpayer-funded lobbying.

But we need your help to succeed!

P.S.  Thomas Jefferson said, “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”

Taxpayer-funded lobbying is an idea antithetical to our foundational principles.

This corrupt, self-serving, vicious cycle of a system is the root cause of many issues this nation faces.

American Action Fund is taking on taxpayer-funded lobbying here in the Granite State and across the country.

So click here to contact your legislator and tell them to end taxpayer-funded lobbying in New Hampshire!
