We need to drop everything and testify against HB 463 – relative to the establishment of an election information portal. If this passes, voters would be able to do the following transactions online…
(a) Complete a new voter application.
(b) Request an absentee ballot.
(c) Request changes to the statewide centralized voter registration database, such as name, domicile address, mailing address, and party affiliation.
There is a place for technology and a place for in person verification and manual labor. Our elections are one of those instances were we need to keep in person verification of the voter’s ID, proof of citizenship and domicile and keep eyes on our votes by hand counting our ballots. Our forefathers knew this as well and wrote it into our Constitution… AND our NH Constitution still states this is how our elections are to be run. Part 2 Article 32. The Moderator, Town Clerk and Selectmen are to receive, sort and count the votes.

This bill also indicates it would allow ANYONE access to register to vote. I should be limited to verified CITIZENS.
The bill provides NO APPROPRIATION. Therefore, until the 2024 estimated cost of nearly $1M is appropriated in the budget, this bill is just a waste of our tax dollars on the Legislative process.
Please plan on coming to the Legislative Office Building, behind the Capitol, to testify in person, or sit in the room while the hearing takes place. As you walk into the room their should also be a sign in sheet to voice your OPPOSITION to this bill.
When: March 12th at 9:40 am
Where: Senate – Election Law and Municipal Affairs – Room 103, LOB

Please email (full list of individual emails at the end of this blog) the entire Senate and urge them to OPPOSE HB 463 Senators@leg.state.nh.us
A few citizens got together and came up with a new slogan for bills we want our Legislature to OPPOSE… We call it having NO T.E.A (Transparency, Enforcement or Accountability). If a bill or any other action our Legislature or Elected Official is trying to pass or do, we can call them out on it by sending them this logo and pointing out their bill or action has NO T.E.A, therefore we ask them to ITL a bill, or stop the NO T.E.A action they are doing.
Like our forefathers did with the Boston Tea Party we would like to apply that same concept with our bills. Throw these bills overboard. They are no good. There is no Transparency, Enforcement or Accountability written into this bill. HB 463 has NO T.E.A.!
