Today, after the House voted HB446 to pass, the Senate then also voted to pass the Bill that would require parental consent when your child takes the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey. This Bill is NOW on its way to Governor Governor Kelly Ayotte’s desk.
I URGE EVERYONE READING THIS to take 1 minute of your time to call Governor Ayotte’s office and ask her to SIGN HB446 into law. This is a PARENTAL RIGHTS Bill , and she ran her campaign supporting parental rights.
Please pick up the phone NOW and call:
(603) 271-2121
Her office is open 8:30am to 5:00pm EST. Or you can leave a message.
I’d also like to thank all of the REPUBLICANS who supported this Bill. Once again, Democrats proved they OPPOSE parental rights and voted against it.
I’d especially like to thank Senators Ruth Ward, Victoria Sullivan and Daryl Abbas for their support to get this passed. There was some confusion in Committee during that vote, but with their efforts, and the efforts of the senators who spoke on the floor, this bill was passed in the senate today. Thank you to Melissa Litchfield too who sponsored this important parental rights Bill. https://www.wmur.com/article/senate-youth-risk-survey-opt-in-52225/64856825?utm_campaign=snd-autopilot&fbclid=IwY2xjawKcsc5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFzcGNCcTh1VTlXcEo3Y21BAR6er1qi13GmtlnytsuF6XJedg_t71dR-Bh13BChYZMjBJbAZHhv3cr89unadw_aem_VyC1uQB015l4ZpiLoJjCPA
