Accessory Dwelling Units (HB 577): This bill is on the way to the governor’s desk and would increase the size of ADUs and allow them to be detached from the residential dwelling on the property. Basically this would eradicate any single-family zoning that currently exists. We are not taking a position on local control of zoning or not.” They will likely discuss how housing is approved and the workings of town meetings.
