***Parents are finding that even when their children are harassed or retaliated against, school administrators use tax-payer funded attorneys to fight against reporting the incident to the NH Dept of Ed as a bullying incident. Attorneys will argue that harassment and retaliation are NOT bullying.
This legislation is needed to add harassment and retaliation to the bullying law.
Reports of bullying on the NH Dept of Ed website are skewed when these incidents are not reported due to a legal technicality.
YOUR tax dollars are used to pay school attorneys to skew these numbers, and work against the children who’ve been harmed.
