CALL TO ACTION — BEFORE NOVEMBER 3RD
On October 19th the Voter Integrity Group (VIG) in NH called for a hearing with the Ballot Law Commission (BLC), where they brought the facts. No one has opened or examined any machine a town has already acquired. NONE. Our voting machines are black boxes with no examination, no parts lists and contracts that stop our towns and cities from doing what they are responsible to do.
The BLC has not issued a decision and the midterms are 2 weeks away. RSA 656:42, X still says no electronic ballot-counting device shall have access to or be connected to the Internet. The Commission’s own 2021 standard also required “no networking capacity.” Neither has been checked on any machine sitting in a town hall and worse, radio frequency activity was detected in the primary, 9/8/26, on an ImageCast machine, in Nashua.
What has not been done
• No town has verified the parts inside its machine against the manufacturer’s list. They don’t have a list!
• No independent technical examination has confirmed the machines cannot reach the internet or any other network.
• No one has examined the software, the camera, scanner or computer on the machines now in use for 96.5% of NH’s registered voters
• In 2010, the BLC required modems be removed before it would re-approve voting machines. That order is still on the books. It has not been applied to the ImageCast or VotingWorks machines in service today.
What the hearing showed
- The Secretary of State confirmed voting machines can be hacked.
- No evidence a single machine in NH has been examined — neither the parts nor network access. The Ballot Law Commission used vendor testimony that machines cannot connect t o a network. NOTHING ELSE.
- The Secretary of State continues to tell us counting ovals in test mode is enough. He failed to update the procedure manual when no networking access was added to the NH machine requirements.
- Contracts in Sandown, Rye, and elsewhere bar towns from opening the sealed computer. However, the Ballot Law Commission has previously ordered towns to open machines and remove wireless capability.
- The ImageCast public manual describes a wireless USB modem and how to transmit results. The federal lab did not test that path; it accepted a company letter.
- Nashua Ward 9 Moderator John Cawthron recorded radio-frequency readings from one on primary day. No office has opened that machine. NO ONE.

***CALL TO ACTION – TIME SENSITIVE – PLEASE ACT ON THIS – BEFORE NOVEMBER 3RD***
1) Call your state reps/senators and demand every machine is examined before the election on November 3rd.
2) Email the Ballot Law Commission, Kaley is their contact. ( Kaley.Dion@SOS.NH.GOV ) Demand they open every voting machine in NH, especially the ward 9 machine John Cawthron tested, and examine them before the election.
3) Have your vote hand counted! Ask the voting machine attendant to place your ballot in the hand count slot.
COMPLAINT CURRENTLY WITH ATTORNEY GENERAL & DOJ CIVIL LIBERTIES
THIS IS WHERE IT STANDS NOW
Complaints under RSA 7:6-c are still open with the Attorney General’s Election Law Unit in the US Civil liberties division. The office has acknowledged receipt and said it is waiting for the Ballot Law Commission to decide before it takes next steps. The hearing did not produce an examination of any acquired machine. The same statutory questions that are in the complaints — whether the machines in use can access the internet, and whether altered hardware was re-approved — remain unanswered by any public inspection of a machine that counted ballots. Until that examination happens, the complaints stay open and the risk stays with the towns.
The Voter Integrity Group would like to hear your comments
THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR PART TO SECURE OUR ELECTIONS!
