| VOTE ON MARCH 12, 2024 High School – 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Budgetary Town Meeting March 13, 2024 High School – 7:00 PM With only a few more days to go before voting on March 12 we’d like to review some of our recommendations. As you know the Bedford Taxpayers Association (BTA) has put out their green flyer which you should be getting in the mail. We want to point out the differences between their recommendations and ours, the Bedford Residents Association (BRA). They have endorsed two incumbents for school board. We have endorsed ONLY Sheila MacDonald and suggest a “bullet” vote for her. This means voting for Sheila and Sheila ONLY. While the BTA endorses incumbent Phil Greazzo just as we do, we have also endorsed Becky Soule. Both will watch out for the interests of the taxpayer. We suggest also “bullet” voting for Phil and Becky, who are both business owners in Bedford. BTA also recommends a NO vote on the building of the new station and a YES vote on putting the budget on the ballot. We agree with both of those positions. To sum up: Bullet vote for Town Council – Phil Greazzo and Becky Soule Vote for Library Trustee – Lauren Messina – Yes on Article 2 – Charter Revision – No on Article3, Amendment 3 – Historic District Boundaries – No on Article 4 – South River Rd Police/Fire Station Bullet vote for School Board – Sheila MacDonald SAMPLE BALLOTS HERE |
